I watched President Joe Biden's speech to the American people and of course the rest of the world as it was covered by television and found myself very pleased with what he had to say. It was a comprehensive assessment of the past and the present and outlined the path that he wishes America to take going forwards.
Gone are the days of US and UK domination of the global environment that has caused mayhem in various parts of the Middle East and in Africa. People in a country within established territories have a right to self-determination without a Big Brother imposing western values on to ancient cultures.
When I live in the United Kingdom as I have done over the past 48 years I agree to living to the Constitution of the United Kingdom. My personal convictions have to be sacrificed to the maintenance of that Constitution. This means I live in the seclusion of my home when I have nothing in common on human rights as compared with the rest of the population. I set out my stall of my personal convictions and publish them in the internet and in the books that I have written as to who I am and what I see as the utopian horizon for all humanity across the globe. I do not force it onto others. But as a human being I have a right not to live like a slave agreeing to everything that happens from the government of the country that I live in. This should apply to all nations. Freedom of speech is the only basic human right of all humanity.
It has come to my realisation that all the journalists that cover world stories for western audiences are effectively pushing the State line with no understanding of the cultures of different States and the rights of those people to preserve their cultures. It is wrong for the government of the United Kingdom to announce that it will take in 20,000 Afghan so-called refugees into the country post the coming of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. Those Afghanis who cooperated with the so-called International Community to establish a new nation based on western values should remain in Afghanistan and develop their country though the democratic process of Afghanistan going into the future.
It i a false notion that 'education' of women and girls to convert them from Muslims to Christian values from brainwashing contributes to welfare. It makes the nation dependant on charity from the the rich countries and disrupts the way of life of the indigenous Afghanis based on Feminism. No one has a right to dictate that to other nations.
As to counter terrorism, it was always wrong to invade Afghanistan and Iraq to topple governments for two different reasons, the former attributed to Al Qaeda being harboured in Afghanistan. I was wrong on many different levels. To hunt down one person in Osama Bin Laden was not enough, the so called International Community had to destroy Taliban and build a new base in that part of the world in its global politics agenda.
People, ordinary people should be left alone, and strong governments are required to provide that security. The Taliban has considerable support in the country and if it endorses free and fair elections, it will have my support to withstand further aggression from the International Community to the internal affairs of Afghanistan.
