Dear Martin Tolhurst
I attended the Trial Hearing of 10 November 2023, 2 pm at Medway Magistrates Court and on the Speeding Offence, was fined £100 with 3 points on my driver’s licence. I have not received the Court documentation yet. The Magistrates rejected an application from the Prosecution for around £72 of costs, and said that the matter of the refund of the £92 that I had paid for the Speed Awareness Course which was subsequently cancelled by Kent Police was something that we would need to take up with Kent Police or Kent County Council.
This is just to keep you informed as I am seeking damages and compensation with a letter of Apology from Kent Police with regard to these proceedings.
Do you have scheme for ‘No Win No Fee’ or should we now sign a contractual arrangement?
